Here are the US speed test reports for November, 2007.

I’m not sure what was happening with HostICan in the first part of November, the results weren’t that great compared to the results after November 11th.

The average US only speed tests including page load times was 794 ms. It appears as though the average page load times was 275 ms after I switched to the new 10K page test page. Pretty good!

As I promised in my November blog posts, I wanted to get all of my speed testing posted and online within the first week of December. Here it is December 1st and I’ve already processed all data and now posted the results live!

As you can see, the drop on November 24th is very noticeable. That’s why I posted my notices first before making these public.

The average response times including mixed homepage / speed test page was 1,199 ms. For this month, we aren’t grading the results. Grading will be coming back in December results posted in January.

Our test results for October conclude that the speed times overall have improved over August.

For August, we tested 940ms from all globally positioned servers. In October, we show HostICan tested at 914ms.

Aside from apparent problems on the 12th, October was an awesome month for HostICan US server full page load times. Here’s the day by day chart:

It seems our response times have done down from last month. August month tests reported an average response time of 656ms. Since we use the test on our main page, this makes more sense because with more content being added and a 10 post limit on the main page, there was more data for our testing servers to load.

Overall, we are very happy with the results of HostICan. We greade HostICan server response times from US an A+. Great job!

Oops, seems we had some problems on the 8th, 9th, and 11th of October. Other than that, we were impressed. Here’s the day by day results:

As you can see, we had some problems with load times from non-US servers on the 8th, 9th, and 11th of October. Not too bad though, the average full page load of this site took 1,219ms from non-US servers.
